I've been waiting for this technology to enter the consumer market for a while now. I'd love to see Project Farm do a test on this battery before I buy it.

This video deserves a follow-up and at least a title change now that Yoshino has been exposed for falsely claiming "SOLID STATE"

Really glad to finally see these products hit the market. Considering how young the technology is, it's not as expensive as I expected it would be.

Great videos of interesting, but expensive, products.. I'm always amazed at how you record these taking only one breath! Keep them coming. 😎

I've read about this concept and am thrilled to see it on the market. This is very cool! Thanks.

Can’t wait for electronics to be advertised as “solid state” again 1970s style

I have the B2000. So far, it's been pretty good. I really just have it for an emergency back up in my car. I've had it up here in the north for the last few months, and it's held a charge in sub freezing temperatures. Haven't ever discharged it fully yet, but it seems to be everything that's promised. Hopefully no issues in the future.

I would love to see someone open this up and de-construct it on video to see all the components

$1600. They do offer payment options, but not in this economy. That makes me sound British, but the US has major inflation problems right now.

Lightweight, Long Battery Life, & Portable. I live on the coast with lots of Hurricanes & that thing would be a lifesaver when the power goes out.

Cool that was finally released?
I saw that at CES 2023 in Jan, it was intriguing.

Unfortunately, like every other portable power station on the market, this unit uses a low cost, high frequency, transformerless inverters. So everytime your window AC unit or refrigerator's compressor kicks on, you're stressing the MOSFETs in this unit's inverter, which will shorten its life expectancy. High frequency inverters are simply not designed to handle the high surge demands that are needed to start inductive loads like refrigerators, small AC units microwaves and large power tools. You may be able to start and run some of these loads when this unit is new but over time, after repeated exposure to inductive loads, this unit will fail, sooner rather than later. A much better choice is to purchase a power station that uses not only solid state batteries but also incorporates a low frequency, transformer based inverter, which will last far, far longer and will start and run those high inductance loads without being damaged.

During power outtages, I want light. The light feature is a great addition. You have light to set the unit up and see.

Always enjoy your videos Chris. I can’t help but wonder if you get anymore battery backups you’ll have a new episode “How much I make selling backup power back into the grid “ lol

I’ve been looking forward to you making content about this!

I am sure temperature(hot or cold) plays a part in the battery performance. Any thoughts on that? Would you be concerned about the longevity of an item like this? I would hope that the batteries power storage ability would not wane for many many years.

👍🏼Thanks for mentioning the ridiculous SOS mode. Every freakin' device available has the useless SOS or strobe function.
