In this video we detail the specifics needed to excel in these 3 Returns of Serve (joined by Lauren - she was brilliant, especially for her first video). These returns of serve offer variety to your game and can give you many solutions to dealing with different service techniques and different spins. This isn't every return you need to have but these are certainly some crucial ones to develop if you want to improve your game.

Which of these 3 returns are you best at?

Thank you for watching 💻

Great job Craig, and it was great to have Lauren assisting, as it brings a different dimension, on how a player of a different level look like performing the same technique as you are doing.

Very good information. Thank you. Can you make a video on effective service returns of various side spin serves, short and long?

If I used Lauren's technique I'd be putting the ball in the net.

Very rarely do backspin serves have as little spin as demonstrated here.

I really appreciate this video. I am struggling to return pure sidespin semi long serve. I would appreciate a video about returning this kind of service. Thanks!

Hey!Thanks for the video, Craig and Lauren! It might have been more insightful to see how a serve is implemented and you return it all together Or to show few faulty returns!?

A great video. However, I would like to see more details on receiving different pendulum serve variations. And what about the super wide serve - how to receive it?

Can we get the next video to include both side top and side backspin serve return to both the forehand and backhand?

Thanks for explaining three different scenarios for the backhand returns. Can you explain if there will be any different approach for the pen-hold players?

Against the fast deep, gosh I think you over-estimate your viewers here! If my opp is giving the fast deep serve I tend to just start out with my backhand ready for it. I don't think I have time to really give a top spin brush as of yet. I'm happy to block it back(or lift it enough) low and give them a slower lower deadish ball. Levels to this!
