Jessica is clearly biased to an extreme. When medical authorities provide "gender affirming" advise to a gender dysphoric child it is received by that child as the only solution to their existential angst. There have been numerous cases wherein those who have transitioned as teens have come to regret it as adults. So much so in fact that the Swedish government determined the “risks of puberty suppressing treatment … and gender-affirming hormonal treatment currently outweigh the possible benefits.” Sweden is one of the most socially liberal countries in the world. There has been no statistical evidence that the rate of suicide among gender dysphoric children has diminished as a result of gender transition.
