Witness: Inmate struggled during execution

Journalist Kent Faulk describes how an Alabama death row inmate who challenged the constitutionality of the state's execution procedures coughed and heaved for about 13 minutes during his execution by lethal injection

I'm not surprised some people go through great personal stress during their execution. I'll bet his victim did, too.

He was convicted of killing a store clerk execution style after already pistol whipping the clerk into submission. BTW the clerk was a parent of an infant child. Soooo for those of you that feel sorry for this inmate, picture this child going to the cemetery on Father's Day.

This criminal was most likely a murderer. His little suffering and huge drama was nothing compared to his victim's suffering.

Why are we so concerned about a death row inmate who struggled when dying? He didn't think about his victims pain did he? All these bleeding hearts need to realize that.

I believe this guy got what he deserved and the appeal process in this country is way too long and criminals know it. They still have 13 years to live their life. What did the victim get? If there were public executions after a death warrant is signed, the crime rate would drop real quick. And let the pot people out of jail...waste of taxpayer $$$.

He was the kind of person that has caused a lot of pain to others. What does it matter if he died painfully? The more pain the better for this kind of people if you ask me.
