We are continuing our Cryptid by State series with our 20th video which is about Maine. There are some truly fantastic creatures that roam about this area. One is a bit humorous while the other is probably the most terrifying account of a dogman encounter.

An old Army Buddy of mine from Northern Maine, told me that he saw a Sasquatch prior to entering the Service. Paul was good friend and we served together. I believed him. He really didn't elaborate on the sighting. He told me this a while I was visiting him and his Family in South Carolina. Sadly, he passed away a couple of years later.

I'm in upper central Maine, there are definitely undocumented creatures in these thick woods and mountains, in upper penobscot and Aroostook county it's common for folks to see all these different things

Im from Caribou, Maine, up in Aroostook County. Maine folks refer to it as "The County". Nothing but woods, lakes, ponds, streams, great trout fishing, white tail deer, moose, which would walk right through the middle of town, more woods, and strange creatures and sounds!!
Big cats do live here, ive seen them myself and was shocked every time i saw it.
My cousin even killed a copperhead snake at Madawaska Lake!

Wow, you just tool me on a flashback through time. As soon as you said pasamaquate, I was 8 years old watching Pete's Dragon again. Not literally but it did bring it to memory. I can't believe that was a real place or that I'd remember 37 or so years later. Weird

Very interesting post Ben. I'm currently looking for a secluded house in northern Maine with two brothers. I hope we don't end up in Eric and Shelly's dogman infested farmhouse, but we might, if the price is right. I'm even more excited for the move now thanks to this timely cryptid video. Hopefully I'll get to see several of these fascinating beings. If I do, you'll be the first person I contact. I'll keep you posted.

I very much enjoyed the video, but I'm really surprised you didn't mention that Maine is home to the International cryptozoology museum. I've been there and it's really fascinating. You definitely made the state proud from my eyes. Really good video man, keep up the good work

Good one! That dogman story was bone-chilling, but I have to say that the phantom giant white moose was my absolute favorite. There was something about that one that rang true.

I got a new job in December and working night shift and commute home in the morning and I was really interested in your Thunderbird video because well when you're driving on the turnpike trying to stay awake you tend to notice the Birds I got myself a bird book so I could flip through it once I got home in bed as I was unwinding to go to sleep well I'm pretty sure I saw a Thunderbird going south from Westbrook to Auburn about somewhere between 8:30 and 9:30 in the morning thanks for doing Maine hope you Circle back and do a bit more once you finish everything else thanks for a great video

My friends brother claimed he was chased by a werewolf near The Maine Mall in the 90s. Kid was terrified of the small patch of woods for years.
