Nice. I got a set of these after my k02s wore out. I think these are better in the snow and rain than the k02s.

I bought these for my 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500. I drive a lot of Ontario and Quebec back roads hauling an 8x16’ car hauler with a Miata Race Car. They’ve never let me down in regard to comfort and traction while hauling.

All those skinny sipes sold me on these tires. They're actually for ice. I never drive through snow in the winter. I'm usually driving on recently plowed roads with 1/2 inch compacted snow that's turned to ice!.

Thank you for this video, made my decision between these and the duratracs. Also, living in Ontario climate made this video even more helpful, keep up the good work and take care!

Got a set of LT285/70R17s put on my Jeep JKU last week. City & highway driving on dry, wet and lightly snowy roads. Comfortable, quiet rides so far. Looking forward to heavier snow out in the countryside in a few weeks, as well as some trails/light off-roading in the spring & summer. Thanks for sharing your video.

After 3 days of researching AT tires for my truck I had review fatigue. Everything in the AT space was very costly or had some drawback (ice performance, cost, quietness, handling). Then I came across the Motomaster Eliminator X-Trail on an amazing sale ($239 cdn each). Originally I never looked at these because of the brand. I read the reviews and was intrigued by positive ice performance, quietness, ride, and overall value. Just picked a set of these up today 275/55/R20 (What a deal). Really noticeable traction on icy roads over the OEM Good Year Wrangler All Seasons on my 2019 F150 that had 70k on them. They are quite and handle well considering the aggressive tread of the AT. Minimal slippage on ice roads in 2 WRD going up hills compared to the horrible OEM tires. Brought my confidence back driving my truck in the cold -25 icy winter roads after fish tailing and an accident switching lanes. Threw 4 bags of salt in the rear of my truck bed as well. Very noticeable difference. If you only want one set of tires for your truck year around look no further!

Hope we can an have long term test for winter on these. How many seasons you think the tree will work well as a winter one? Also will these qualify for insurance discount for winter tires?

I know I am late to the conversation. Not that you have had these tires for a few years. Would you recommend them? Can you please get back to me. Thank you.

Great video! The Eliminators are on my short list for my F150 Screw 4X2 truck. I mostly drive on the 400 series hwys where slush is more of a concern. Based on my experience, a true winter tire is superior for the first couple of years and then drop off. I'm willing to sacrifice some traction in the short term in exchange for more overall long term performance. Thank you!

I have these on my 1st gen sequoia now which came with geolandars. I think these moto masters are the best bang for your buck. I agree with the road noise, it's quiet! But at the same time I do have a muffler delete lol. But it's definitely quieter in cabin than my exhaust manifold leak. Wet traction is phenomenal and winter traction is pretty good. I would definitely purchase another set when the time comes. Haven't really tested off road but does well in mud and gravel, even only in 2WD! Best bang for your buck I think!

Are these called something else in the US, perhaps with the Cooper name? I can't find anyone that imports them let alone sells them.

I got these tires installed on my 2010 Tacoma with original 17" rims in March of 2022 (I still had the original tires). Compared to the original tires from Toyota, they are "slightly" noisier but it's negligible because, like you said in the video, the originals are crapy especially in Winter. On a previous '89 GMC S10, I installed BF All Terrain tires and those were noticeably noisier than the originals. I only have 78, 000kms on my Tacoma so these new tires will last until I decide to get a new vehicle so longevity wasn't a big factor.
Overall I would certainly recommend them for the price and overall quality. (keep in mind though that the "design" is from Cooper but the rubber is Canadian Tire, there is a difference. My uncle worked at a tire plant and saw the difference in rubber between Motomaster and BF but that was 2 decades ago)

I'm at CT to buy these for my 1 ton. CT says these are winter tires!!! Are they only for winter?

It’s alright for me if the tires make a lot of noise cause I’m always blasting music on the jbl speakers anyway

I have bought a set of these for my 2009 3500 Express Single rear wheel cube van. Your review helped decide. I will try to comment once I have experience with them.

I am getting the exact same tires. I'm really hoping they will be quiet and work in the snow. I will not likely take the van off road. But if I do anything stupid, hopefully they will keep me out of serious trouble.

Why would you put e rated tires on a mid size truck?? I have the 1/2 ton version on my frontier.

Any rubbing when going over bumps while cornering? Looking for tires for stock height and wheel size

I miss my Cooper Discoverer M+S studded winters. They discontinued the and the replacement gets horrible reviews. I had to settle with a set of Nokian Hakka 10 SUV studded this year and i was so disapointed with their performance after years of using my Cooper Discoverers. Those old Coopers were amazing, i very rarely needed to lock my 4Runner into 4wd and the level on confidence they gave when driving through the nastiest of weather was very high. The studs on the new Nokians are hardly even noticeable other than the noise. They've given me more rear wheel spin when driving through very tame snowy dirt road conditions then I've ever experienced in my years of driving a 4Runner. I'm eyeing these Motomaster Eliminators for my 3 season tires this year. It's hard to decide at times, the Nokians are ranked one of the best winter tires and I found them rather crap. I guess if you have never experienced ultimate traction like the old Coopers gave you just don't know, kinda like people who've never owned a Toyota and don't understand the hype.
