I remember my mother watching crappy 60s movies during the eighties. She used to say how she loves these movies as they brought her back to her young self and that particular era.. I shrugged my shoulders...
Now i just love watching movies of the 80s or 90s. These movies have a coloration and locations that are of a gone by era and they can just remind you so much of that; Lost her last year due to cancer.

Betrayal does so much more than what people see on the outside. I don't believe a person truly recovers. Everyone deals in different ways. My way of it never happening again is simple. I refuse to date. It's been over 3 years, my life is peaceful, and I am almost 60 years old. I'm good with the grandkids, work, and my golden retriever. ❤

I found out that my husband was having an affair when I was 7 months pregnant with our child and I was 30 year's old. His mistress was one of his friends girlfriend's. I divorced him immediately and I have never remarried. It changes you when you experience such a terrible betrayal. He tried to win me back saying how much he loved me; yeah right. I have been happily single since and have never looked back. Life is simpler when you are alone. I am 64 now.

I don't think men truly understand the impact that having an affair has on their wives. It's not just the physical act of betrayal, it's the lies. It's the loss of trust and respect which, once broken, are pretty much impossible to build up again.

Powers Boothe (1948-2017; RIP) was a very good actor. He probably could have had a shot a movie theater film roles, but he was comfortable with stage work and leading roles in TV movies. The breakout role for him, after years of stage work and low key supporting roles, was his lead role in the late 1980 biographical drama about the much maligned Reverend Jim Jones, the leader of a fanatically obedient cult, of over 800 members, including himself, who committed mass suicide after the cult moved to British Guyana. A decent person in real life, reportedly, he played the role of deviant men masterfully. He portrayed a US Navy officer exchanging top secret military information with the Soviet Union during the Cold War era. He wasn't anti-American, although his actions were. He did it strictly for money. Based on a true story, Powers Boothe played that role masterfully. His acting was "old school, " in a good sense, probably a result of his years of doing stage work. He was on the tall and good looking side, physically. Yet, no technology or special effects in the movies he was in. Just good, straightforward, classic acting. And he nailed his roles pretty well. It was a pleasure to see him perform a number of roles well. And sad when he passed away. at age 68

An affair could bring extreme damaging to a woman’s femininity and dignity, not just mentally or physically but more the fact you ask yourself “who is he that I’m married to“? It feels like your whole life with him was unreal, and being shocked why someone would do this to you and still say I love you”, that’s a cowardly lie towards a woman cause if he really did love her he would never betray her🤷🏻‍♀️
