I've learned over the years that the fewer people you deal with the better off you are! Don't tell all your business to no one.

I live in SoCal and a while back several of my neighbors were very close. They would throw wild parties (and I mean wild) go on cruises, charter a bus to Vegas, etc. They would invite my husband and me but we would always decline politely. I would say “we’re boring or we’re no fun - you guys go ahead” that kind of excuse. They even made gates into each other’s yards and would go back and forth etc into each other’s properties. Well one day there was a drug bust with one of them and they all turned on each other and accused each other of all kinds of things! One of them went to prison. My next door neighbor even sold his house and they moved away. Years later I ran into him at the grocery store and he was still ripping on all of them really bad. I didn’t even know what to say. I went home and told my husband and we just agreed that the smartest thing we ever did was stay out of that whole situation!

My best friend and I have been friendly for 40 yrs. Since we were 12, we went to school together, we had 2 boys. 1 of them a month apart. She's been there thru ups and down, and I've done the same. We speak every day. I love her more than family. I wouldn't know what to do without her, and viceversa. I consider myself very blessed

I lost my bestfriend almost 4 years ago and I’m still not ok. My heart has a permanent hole in it, I can’t imagine doing something like this to her. No amount of money could ever make me set her on fire. She was genuinely evil

NEVER EVER make a “friend” a beneficiary and think they’ll do the right thing!

I lost my best friend 8 years ago from cancer. It was really sudden. My heart still aches. I cannot imagine ever wanting to hurt her, mentally or physically. 😞

The voiceovers for Linda and Lula sounds so much alike I kept getting confused who was who 🥴.

With friends like that, who needs enemies.

Growing up, my grandmother always told me, "familiarity breeds contempt." Sometimes not sharing and knowing everything about someone, or them knowing it about you, is a better option.

As sad as it is to say, never mix finances with your close friends, if at all possible. You never know what kind of evil greed is lurking beneath the surface. I feel horrible for Lula, her family, and all that knew her. RIP.

I had a friend since kindergarten and had known her for over 40 years after her mother died. She was left homeless although she was an adult, she took care of her mother, who was disabled. I moved her out of state let her live in my home, made her pay a small amount of rent because she had never paid bills helped her get a job and a subsidized apartment. She met a man at her job who was abusive and did not want her to be around me, so she basically wrote me a dear John letter, and told me that her husband was more important and she had only known him for six months while I’ve known her for 40 years, and helped her throughout her life, I just hope that she has a blessed life and ever since she’s been gone my life has been better because I’m not responsible to take care of a grown woman who could take care of herself. Be careful of who you call Best Friend and be careful of what you do and what you give them.😮

My sister and I were both old maids until I was 55 and she was 56. We lived near each other in the same town and were each other's total support system. Then she met someone at work, three months later they were married and she totally abandoned me. We attended an annual concert series together for forty years and it's very hard to get tickets. She called and asked me to give my ticket to her husband, I said no and that's the last time I heard from her. Nobody sits in her seat now.

I’ve lived in a cul de sac for 7 years and I only know my neighbors by first names 😂
We watch each others’ homes during vacations and grab each others’ trash cans but that’s about it!

I had a BFF for 50 years. She didn’t agree with who I voted for in 2016 and ended our friendship! Hard to believe

My friend and neighbor ended up with my husband after I told her my life didn’t revolve around her, she got angry and started plotting her evil plans of breaking up our family, it’s all okay, Thank God for his grace in my life, I’m a happy person and have been happily married for many years to a wonderful man.
