One of my favourite details for sure, and one of the most satisfying! It was awesome seeing how thrilled the new owner was! Hopefully he gets it back on the road soon!

Have a great weekend everyone! Don’t forget to LIKE and SUBSCRIBE! And check out the new Yard Geek video too! 😎

You did an excellent job with my old car 💕 My son is extremely happy with your detailed work & I am very impressed -looking forward to him taking me for a little ride in the old street rod ... Luckily she's in the right hands now, he's extremely adept with engines so she's going to have a great life from here on out ❤️

Here's a fun fact regarding the '74 Challenger, it was the last year for this generation of the Challenger because of the oil crisis so Dodge just assembled many models using parts that would belong to higher models.

One of the more famous '74 Challengers is a burgundy one with a black vinyl top that belonged to Bruce Hudson, a 22 year old deckhand who tragically passed away on board the infamous Columbia steamer, Edmund Fitzgerald which sank on November 10th, 1975. After his death, his mother Ruth drove it before selling it, History Mustery Man discovered it a few years ago and it's in bone stock condition, in the ownership of a guy who later met and reunited Ruth with the car before she passed away from old age.

Great video so far Mitch!

Today’s cars will never hold up like the masterpieces of the 70’s.

You know, every time you get a car like this in I think it’s impossible to clean a mess this bad and every time you prove me wrong. I’m delighted that this the case as I get so much enjoyment from these transformations. Watching the dirt come off with the pressure washer was super satisfying! What a great detail, thanks so much for sharing this beauty!

I am an Old School Chevy guy, but I am delighted to see this classic Mopar come back to life. I hope the owner carries out his plans for a restoration, as he has got a great start from The Detail Geek!

I’m three years into restoring a ’74 Challenger. You can find a ton of aftermarket parts built to OEM specs. It’s good to see another one getting ready for the road. Likely a 318 in there now but if it is a 340 (couldn’t tell) I’d try to rebuild the motor if it’s salvageable. A 340 six pack is a great setup.

❤❤❤ To make a statement, I used to thoroughly detail my own car, no matter the original shape of the car. Our neighbor would make fun saying that I was going to wash the paint off the car. I thought it was funny too. I have always had pride in my vehicles. If you take care of your own car or truck, it will take care of you. The only other person that I would trust detailing my truck, would be this man. I love watching this channel because it's how I have always detailed my vehicles. I have not been kind to my body and it takes me so much longer than it used to, but heck not like I'm busy anymore. Great job on this beauty!!!

Such a shame to swap out a numbers-matching big block for a Hemi. But, as always, such a pleasure to watch you work your magic on this beautiful car!

I can't stand spiders. This whole time, I was praying that one didn't lash out at you. Amazing job. Keep rising shining star. Love your work.

I’m a 21 y/o woman and I love watching cleaning videos for the satisfaction and I *was* here for that at first, but now I’ve learned a lot about how to wash cars just watching your channel! I’m definitely subscribing to your new channel as well, I have a feeling I’ll get some knowledge about yard work as well from you! Love your videos ❤

The real crime is how this work of art was sitting abandoned

Is it weird how I want to see this restored fully and hear it rumble?

"He took the car and she got the house, which means he absolutely had his priorities straight."

Nothing better than getting these beauties back on the road. Too bad a cover wasn't on that car, although the paint does look good. Nicely done, night and day difference.
