@dcafnaetd A factory reset can sometimes resolve this issue. If that does not work, I would suggest speaking with the supplier of the screen directly for more troubleshooting info.

@cherylHJkim Yes a replacement screen assembly will resolve issues caused by a pressure cracked LCD screen. And yes, the screen assembly is held to that "mid-housing" by adhesive. However, the adhesive can either be re-used without an issue, or I believe our current stock has the adhesive pre attached, making replacement even easier.

@2ris2 New adhesive is recommended on the Fascinate, however it is not always required. Many times the adhesive can be reused from the old screen and buttons.

@CoDFreak46 Normally, repairs are always cheaper than replacing. It really comes down to you. We focus on repairs and the Fascinate is not overly tricky, following this guide will get your screen replaced fairly quick and safely.

@SwampRoOsTeR Heat is the best way to resolve this issue. If the adhesive is heated properly it should come out easily.

@cochinoman24 Yes, the screen is attached via a flex cable to the motherboard.

Hey, I seem to be having the exact situation Mr Drew here is having with mine, but only thing is when mine fell it made a few small cracks in it but STILL worked. Secondly I was showing something on the phone & it went to acting up as I went to scroll upwards, my ring had caught it & unfortunately gave it yet another crack plus blackening the screen. I did some homework on how to go about fixing it, even purchased the lcd digitizer screen for it. Any helpful thoughts or ideas, please & thank you

You will need to connect the ribbons back onto place as well as the frame.

@ej67587 Yes, this is a common repair. We currently do not have this part available however. The process used in this video will show the steps required.

So do u have any vids on how to re-assemble w/new screen? If the glass and buttons are held on with adhesive, do you need more adhesive to re-assemble?

If I buy the LCD + digitizer replacement, would I only have to snap on the back bezel and screw together? Or would it require piecing together those ribbons, etc.?
