This is the top of resident work I do. There’s a lot of different different techniques to cause different affects and mixing of colors for coasters to jewelry to bowls. It can be a lot of fun.

Nice colors! I need to get my hands on some molds and such. Bet they’d be nice to make some ornaments as gifts!

Thank you for showing how easy it is to work with resin, alcohol dyes, and pearlescent pigments. It looked like so much fun. I think homemade gifts are the best! I bet you could mix in glitter or some jewels like Swarovski birthstone crystals for the grandbabies

Things I have learned:
*HOT resin will adhere to the silicone. Be super careful when popping bubbles. Ive ruined several molds this way.
*pre-warming the molds in a toaster oven set on the lowest possible helps the resin flow better into the mold. Note, warm resin is more viscus, causing colors to mix more if you're using more then one color this can be a problem.
*I like to dust molds with corn starch just to make extra sure the resin doesnt stick

I liked the color "coffee with milk" ☕
But every color is unusual and beautiful!

I bought a “ Lets Resin” kit and I’ve had it a couple of weeks bc I want to use my products correctly and not waste them. I’ve been watching videos for info. This has been, by far one of my favs bc they are very informative. Thanks!! Oh and btw I have some of the same inks in my kit and I can’t wait to use them now, seeing how pretty they are.

Yeahhhh man. We really dug this video. Good on Lets Resin for getting you involved. Their stuff looks really nice and accessible to folks who don't ordinarily mess with this kind of thing. Riss and I jumped on Amazon to check some of it out. Looks like it'd be a fun way to get familiar with using resin in general.
