Possibly the best guitar solo I’ve heard in 12 years of owning a music venue! Keep Watching!

Canadian guitarist, singer, producer Ariel Posen played at Fat Lil’s in Witney, UK on Tuesday 4th February 2020. I knew he’d be good because he used to be in Brothers Landreth, but didn’t expect to hear this incredible, dynamic solo. Combining slide techniques, finger picking, dissonance and a fuzz tone to die for. It builds and builds. I was totally blown away! And I think it is possibly the best (to my taste) I’ve heard in all the years of owning the club.

PRIME example of how drums and bass hold the foundation during a solo. Not a single beat, note, or stroke was out of place. Absolutely perfect

Yes. Damn fine solo. But man, the universe loves a great rhythm section.

Guitar player is great but also props to that drummer for adjusting his dynamics perfectly to match the feel and groove of the solo. Created a nice solid foundation for the soloist.

Even better is how the band knows just to sit back and let him take centre stage. This is outstanding. This is the kind of solo that makes other guitarists jealous.

This guy's solo is exactly as i would solo if i knew how to solo

Every young player should watch this. This is a perfect example of how to play a solo. It’s not about how many notes or how fast you can play. It’s about knowing when and what to play, soul, passion and the guitar being an extension of you.

y’all are sleeping on the bass player, he was the reason Posen’s solo peaked during the climax tbh

Anyone else impressed by how focused the crowd got right as he started his solo. Like dang...that's some respect.

He's unpredictable. It sounds like he's about to careen off the rails any second.... but he never does. Creates tension. Awesome. And thank God for Jeff Beck.

The fact he can get his guitar to sound like a sitar with that slide is epic. It's such a unique sound. This must have been mind blowing to see live.

Killer Solo but the crowd being quiet is almost impossible when playing live. Telling drunk or buzzed people to keep it down usually back fires, but the room is silent and the vibe is epic.

This is a bad cat on multiple levels. He's got soul in his voice that is also in his fingers. And he's combining great technic with and without the slide. Plus really great tone. And he's actually saying something in his solos. Very melodic but, also very lyrical. I am an instant fan. Thanks Paul.

Ohhh my god, I feel like my ears took Xanax. Every instrument was just right, and I could tell that solo had the whole building in a trance. Absolutely breathtaking..

Damn...such controlled emotive playing... and even when he lets go every phrase is still exactly what is needed to emote the music. Damn fine musicianship from the entire band... everyone knows their role and plays it to perfection....even the crowd was cool...they knew they were witnessing something special... they knew.

Everyone is so aware of their own instrument and of each other. The level of musicianship here is phenomenal.
