Ireland... A country that had suffered so much in the past only to rise today as one of the richest states, with the kindest people and among the highest standards of living. Modern Ireland was built on the sacrifice and hard work of its citizens looking to provide a better future for their children. But today, something terrible is happening. Back when it was relatively poor, the country used to receive very few non-EU migrants. Now, with its prosperity and generous welfare, it has been subject to a heavy inflow of migrants from the Middle East and Africa, many of whom are arriving here illegally.
