My #1 pet peeve - watching the third strike. Little leaguers are taught if you have 2 strikes you can not be choosy. There's a reason you get a backward k. Watch any pro game and you will see it ten times a game.

i think they are thinking and looking to much. In their head. As a pitcher what you do make sense, ive commented on this and talked to some ex pro pitchers i played with and they said you are a beast and veryyyy special. None of them analyze or went to the extent of how gradular you do things and your thought process. They said, now, looking back, they wish they did. I see to much "show" in baseball now. Everyone has some sort of spandex, sleeve, knee, arm, foot whatever, looking pretty and mentally i dont think many are there compared to the pitchers. I mean, you are considered successful as a batter if you get 3 hits out of 10 at bats which is 30% lol. Pitchers have held the line where i cant say that for all position players.
