It's ok to say No to your kids. Just say no. Do it now before it's too late. Get them used to hearing no while they're young. No is a complete sentence. They will be fine.

I really hope she got on track after the show! Regarding the free drinks at clubs, it might work as a woman to go out cheaply but it's generally a bad idea to take drinks from stranger's. And if you let men pay for you evening you have to be aware that a lot of them will have some expectations of the outcome. Plus of course the moral problems with letting other people pay for you a lot without returning it

I loved Gail. She was the one who taught me (indirectly) about finances. Came across her program the summer before I started college and I can say her teachings were helpful not making me rack up a bunch of debt. I remember this episode. I Hope one day they can catch up with some of these princesses

Gail, is a bit of a financial guru up here in Toronto Canada (it’s all based in Toronto). The show, especially the uncut version of the first season was actual great

I've heard Garrett Gunderson say: the best thing you can do for your kids is to fund your retirement, so YOU aren't a burden to them (and the cost that'll be in your retirement years).

If you can't give your child every advantage in life without them growing up to be lazy, entitled and fiscally irresponsible then something definitely went wrong in the parenting process.

Of course, you can choose not to give your kids financial support to "build character" but that could also mean they're only one lottery ticket or insurance settlement away from becoming an a$$hole.

Haha graham, I’m a female and I rarely get free things at clubs/bars. A guy did buy my friend and I a shot for my birthday this year. No one even offered to buy anything for my bachelorette (except my bridesmaids paid for my drinks).

I like how Graham says "how are these people loaning these young people in their early 20's money considering he got multiple mortgages approved for him in his early 20's lol

And remember the prices and even the shopaholics are worse now, since this was filmed in the 2010s

I missed Gail! (You’d think the parents would have stopped paying for anything and just paid for food/housing at least?)

A bit of struggle for young ones sets them up for sucess :) If you give them everything, they don't learn how valuable things are.

95k/yr?? I make more than that and even I have to limit eating out to once a week. I think it would take a lot more than $95k to support her lifestyle
