I currently use the adidas Uber sonic 4 for outdoor basketball after watching some the Drs videos. Tennis shoes are by far, in my experience a great shoe for outdoor basketball. The Uber sonic 4s are light and comfortable right out the box. The Dr is right about the forefoot cushion. I changed the insole for some of my indoor insoles- what a difference. Great shoe, all around .

I also would love to see which basketball shoe would be best for tennis. Basketball shoes are a lot more widely available and a lot or recreational players who don’t wanna invest in tennis shoes would be much better off in basketball shoes which almost everyone owns or can find instead of the worst alternative, running shoes
My favorite is UA Curry, any version 1-6, but they are all low cut and feel like a tennis shoe

I just got my gp turbo, amazing ! I’m sure they will give me a very great performance playing basketball. They have a good balance between cushion and stability, comparing it to other basketball shoes (that lateral flange helps a lot). A thing to consider is that I feel a bit of heel movement, because I went a full size up, I need that extra space in the forefoot to open my toes
and have more stability.
Now it’s time to get one for my brother that plays tennis and volleyball.

Hi Dr Zach. Tennis shoes have become narrow. Could you please make a list of tennis shoes for wide feet.? For instance, I’ve been wearing Adidas Sole court boost and Adidas Defiant Bounce version 1. However, they don’t sell anymore in my country. I have the Nike air zoom vapor and is a really painful shoe to wear.

Wear testers already made a complete video on the gp turbo saying it was the best outdoor basketball shoe. I Would only trust that one on the list.
