First of all thank you for your tutorials. Do I have to delete IMPLICIT NONE to use explicit type casting? And, can I declare type of variables after executable statement. Or these problems is because of my compiler.

hello arun, i wish to know if i can automate windows applications with fortran - basically looking for commands similar to 'findwindow like'as in perl or 'winactivate'in autoit etc.. i have used fortran for many engg calculations, now i require bit of windows automation scripts, i am reluctant to learn a new language - so wish to know if i can live with fortran for such needs.. thanks

it works, but why every time i input the number then it shows the answer, but suddenly the program close itself .
