More positives for the Raptor:
1. No “check engine” lights in the first miles ;
2. It’s only taken one Raptor to last 30 days.

Just get a tonneau cover. It just rolls away, locks with the tailgate, and there is plenty of room in the bed for 5peoples luggage.

if only trucks would have a price reset, and this would cost 50k, whereas regular f150s were more like 30k.

The dynamic between Tommy and Roman, is fantastic! I would love to work with my dad on something we both loved! Awesome 😎

Wow, that artificial exhaust sound inside the car is obnoxious. I hope there is a way to turn it off. Permanently

I have a 20 Raptor and get 18.4 mpg. I keep my foot out of it most of the time but do give it beans now and then.
My second Raptor and love it better than the previous version.

$77k IS a lot of money, but for junior to bag on it yet defend at $67k Gladiator is a joke.

I love people bitching about fuel economy in a PERFORMANCE vehicle. Let me put this in perspective for you. In 1971, I bought a Ford Bronco. It had a 205 hp, 302 V8, and the best mileage it ever got was 15.5 mpg at 55 miles per hour. Now, let's all get nostalgic about "the good old days"...

This is what it is about. Dead on owner impressions. And I respect when you give this type of informative yes and no to what it is like to own it. Driving impressions are great. Does it do what it is supposed to is great. But this, this is where the daily driver really finds out whether it is worth going to the dealership to try out for a purchase of long term ownership. You nailed it. Thanks Roman and Tommy.

There's no denying that the Raptor is a beast in both off-road prowess and sheer speed.  However, the EcoBoost engine "sounds" anemic when compared to a N/A V-8.  Also, for almost 80K, there should not be any scratchy, crappy plastic in the interior.

complaining about it being BIG is like compaining about fuel mileage in a GT500. Its a truck

I hear about bad gas mileage in every video on the Raptor. My first tank was 19.5 mpg and best was 22.5. I average 20 mpg and I have 9, 500 miles on it now. Lift your right foot once in a while and it will get much better.

If you buy a six cylinder and expect it to sound like a v-8 who's fault is that?

You got a 15% boost in mileage while getting 39hp and 76tq. Sounds like a good trade off for the V8 to me.

I have never enjoyed a truck as much as my ‘17 Raptor. This is the longest I have kept any truck. That being said, I ordered my TRX two months ago. Exhaust note was one of the deciding factors, but overall the truck performs flawlessly. The Baja suspension floats down any road, and exceeds many luxury vehicles for ride. I have put three different exhausts on it trying to find the right note. It’s impossible. The augmented note can be disabled in ForScan, and additional features unlocked.

I'm not a Raptor fan but that particular red makes it look excellent!

My wife who knows nothing about cars or trucks once asked me what was wrong with that truck? “It sounds like a ricer”. I told her that it was a V6 turbo and she asked “Why”? Lmao

Personally I'm sick and tired of hearing about the plastic interior, # 1 I'm in construction #2 I fish a lot and in both cases I'm always SLIMEING my truck, and the inside of my truck wipes down In seconds and has held up great. I like utility in my truck. Also Maybe this fancy interior in the Ram is why it's 85k to 90k not 77k. Why don't you guys push for Lamborghini everything so only 3 people on the planet can afford one.

You forgot the best part! The TORSEN® front differential. The Raptor 802A is the only 1/2 ton truck with a locking front diff currently. Even the new TRX won't have that.

You need to do a video on IT.
