Australia is rightfully 6th. It boasted the 4th largest airforce towards the end of the war, had some of the best fighters on the ground and had a considerable navy. It projected its power globally, defended Britain with 1/3 of its air force (mostly bomber aircraft), fought to the death in north africa, western europe, middle east and south east asia as well as the pacific. Australia and Canada are very close in terms of strength during and after WW2 so it is hard to say who was stronger, personally I would place Australia a touch above due to its slightly larger yet unknown contribution...
