I downloaded it this morning on my android and it is working great. You can't 3D imagery in basemap android version but you can flip between basemap and Google earth and use Google earths 3D tool. So far with about an hour of playing with it it seems great so far! Thanks for posting!

Does basemap show guzzlers like onX does?

It looks like a pretty good system. What really sucks is if I switch over to basemap I lose all my pins, trails, areas etc that I have marked and saved.

If you had to choose between basemap or onx which 1 would you pick ?

Thanks for this. I've been on the fence of buying (another) phone mapping app, but the 3d feature is appealing on basemap.

I purchased this app after watching this review. It is an awesome app but there is one huge flaw that is a deal breaker for me. With ONX I save the entire unit I am hunting on my phone. When I am hunting and my area is slow I have the ability to scroll over the entire unit with ONX while offline and scout for somewhere else to check out. You can't do this with Basemap. You save each map in little squares. It takes 20-50 to save a entire unit. You have to remember the name of each square so you can look it up offline. I contacted Basemap and they said they will eventually have this problem fixed. Looks like I will pay $100 instead of $30 until they make their offline mapping practical.
