We've reached December and that's the news done for the year... or is it? We have 2025 to look forward to and the first car launch invites have been sent out. 2025 is shaping up to be yet another big year in terms of new model introductions for our market.

In this video, David Taylor shares news of two new brands joining the South African car industry as well as highlights of which new cars you can expect in your local showrooms. Of course, he'd like to tell you about each and every one, but no-one has time for a 30 minute video.

I’ve been waiting for a diesel Tank 300 ever since they reported it being tested in Australia. I watched a video by Savage Tech in Oz where they compared the towing ability of the Tank 500 HEV versus the 2.4 diesel-powered P500 ute., and for towing a fully-loaded 3, 500 kg off-road trailer, and equipped with heavy accessories like bull bar, winch, big 33” AT tyres, awning, roof rack, off-road suspension, etc, etc, the diesel was way, way better than the hybrid. Can’t wait for it to land on local shores as it should be coming with that same 2.4 diesel engine 👍

I was driven around in a beautiful electric MG in New Zealand. When will some supplier bring us a decent full electric at around 500k.
