The fact that world governments could not take this man in shows the lack of regard for human life! The fact that he had to live 18 years of his life in an airport terminal shows the lowest decline of the human condition on a world wide scale! Poor man RIP

I can't stand to be in an airport for 18 hours let alone 18 years. God bless him.

You have food, shelter, safety, and constant companionship from an endless stream of people. Living in the airport certainly beats living in the streets.

it's truly sad for him to have to endure this much suffering to only want to go home and live his life. I'm sure he has met and spoken to many wonderful people and developed a unique perspective on life not many can really understand.

It's a shame to a government that it's own people deny citizenship.

Gone... but never will be forgotten. I hope his spirit got on a plane that will take him to all his hopes and dreams.

At first I wondered how a man so thin died of a heart attack then I saw that he smoked and I remembered the words of my cardiologist when I told him I was going to lose weight last year and he said “ losing weight is fine but I have plenty of skinny heart patients. I want you to get more physically fit. That’s more important . “ Being in an airport 24/7 for years likely didn’t help him in that regard.

i lived in an airport for a couple days, flight on emergency passport out of the u.s. issued by my congresswoman for organised stalking. my advice is, however hungry you get, the mayonnaise dispenser should not be considered a food source.
i kinda wish, the government had investigated the stalking instead of issued the passport.

I remember this guy. Actually, I would rather die than live in an airport for years too. Just the thought of being homeless gives me the 'willies'.

He was the real life Tom Hanks. He waited 18 years for Catherine Zeta Jones, until he finally died of a 💔 broken heart.
