'Running of the Bulls' (Chicago Bulls, 1996) [Enhanced 4K]

I was surprised to see that such a popular staple of our childhood only exists as an extremely compressed 360p video on YouTube. So, I took the liberty to enhance and upscale the animation to 4K using the Proteus 6-Parameter model (e.g., fine-tune de-blocking, detail recovery, sharpening, noise reduction, de-haloing, and antialiasing).

Some fun trivia: "Sirius" is an instrumental by British rock band the Alan Parsons Project, recorded for their sixth studio album, Eye in the Sky (1982). From the 1990s onward, "Sirius" has become a staple of many college and professional sporting events throughout North America, most prominently Chicago Bulls games.

Let me know what else you'd like to see upscaled in the comments! :)

I want to see the games in 1080p, or any kind of improvement for that matter. You´re right its a shame that a staple of our childhood is only available in compressed 360p or sometimes 480p, talking about the games now, mostly off bad sources like taped from tv 20+ years ago, then encoded to pc´s. I still watch those bad quality avi´s encoded years ago full of artifacts then compressed again on Youtube. (i still have my VHS tapes from german TV, incl full Finals from 1996 to 1998) I´ve been looking for DVD sales of NBA Games to get hold of a decent quality. But apart from the six greatest games of Jordan compilation release i dont own any games of that era. To this day i havent been able to watch a full NBA game in a decent quality from that era apart from some hardwood classics on the tubes (and why oh why do they have to put the spoilers in there?). I know some games have been shot on film which of course can be restored to nearly any resolution including 4k. But with nowadays software there could be made a significant improvement in upscaling even video to a bigger resolution. It´s not very easy though apart from the copyright issues. I want access to all televised games from any era, but mostly 90´s Bulls, Rockets, Supersonics, Hornets, Knicks. The upscaled animation of the intro doesnt work for me since all the straight lines, the buildings etc have morphed into deformed globs. I tested some software on a few game a few times and the result seems to be best for close ups and sharp source images. Blurry totals (like the field view of the basketball court) tend to morph aswell and dont look that great from the blurry and artifacted sources i have. But with a good source like a resonably sharp 640by480 tape i believe you can have a huge improvement over what we have to live with so far. Who has the sources and who owns the rights to 90´s NBA games. Is it the league only? And why dont they feature those in the League Pass? I considered getting a League Pass to watch old games but they dont include 90´s so far. Anyway love to see someone bringing this up. Thank you for doing this. The intro gives me goosebumps to this day...
