It’s nuts how the crowd just keeps getting more nuts. By the time he says “From North They are in an all out frenzy. Best. Intro. Ever.

This was arguably the loudest Chicago Bulls intro ever at the United Center. So many factors in play:
-MJs first full year back
-72 - 10 season
-Bulls were away for almost a week in Seattle playing games 3-4-5, losing 4 & 5
-The Chicago crowd witnessed in Seattle how immensely loud their crowd was so they wanted to show how loud they could get
-clinching game to win the first title after 2 yrs
1996 was a great year to be a teenage Bulls fan

The moment the lights are turned off and the music other team had no chance.

I was one of the cameramen that captured this glorious moment. The atmosphere of United Center on that night was electrifying. This video doesn’t do it justice of how loud it was. Soon as MJ was announced, I kid you not, i felt as if my camera was shaking. Chills man, chills. Glad I had the privilege

No sports team in the history of ever, will EVER, make grown men tear up watching an intro almost 30 years after the fact.

During the Running of the Bulls in the 90s, you knew as an opponent that you had to beat not only Michael Jordan, not only Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman and the rest of the supporting cast. You had to beat Phil Jackson, the United Center, the fans -- plus you had to beat this great theme song and intro. Total package, baby.

That little nod from Jackson at the end is just like, "Yeah, time to lift the trophy."

It's disappointing to me that we could just never experience this energy again. Imagine being in that building. Still gives me chills.

I watch this several times a week. It is the best thing on YouTube. If this doesn't give you chills, check your pulse.
