In this video I share with you 15 years of graphic design experience, but in a matter of only 6 minutes. Being a graphic designer for this long has allowed me to learn a lot about this space. There are some really important things that people need to remember and keep in mind as they enter deeper into their graphic design careers.

The points in todays video are not only about the technicalities of actually designing something — there are things about that in the video — but a lot of the content in this video talks about how to conduct yourself as a graphic designer from a career mentality.

Hi Satori. Speaking as a graphic designer from the early 1980s, we knew from college days that computers were going to change the way we worked but didn't know HOW. There was great anticipation but we had to wait until certain developments were made and the computers could actually be USEFUL to our profession. We needed something way more sophisticated than a word processing program (obviously😉). We didn't use PCs because they just weren't applicable to the design process. We were generally scoffed and mocked by non-designers for what they mistakenly perceived as our rejection of technology. 😆

As a profession, we embraced the new Apple Macs and the associated software wholeheartedly and felt a sense of pride because in terms of the average computer user in the workplace (PCs running Microsoft Word), what we were doing was on a whole different level. Thank you Steve Jobs. That's why designers LOVED Apple Macs. We felt that someone out there was pushing technology ahead just for us designers.🤩

At first Showing the idea of the Customer (even if their idea suck, they will be dissappointed and upset if not noticed and feel unappreciated ) then, in contrast, your idea to blow their mind.
Dont worry, if your idea really is better and better looking, even a noob will see it!
