The cheapest V8 Jaguar in the UK

While the Drift Subaru is broken, instead of fixing it, we've bought another track car project. Is it still possible to buy a cheap smelly old V8? Should you? We're not sure yet - but we're going to find out.

Apologies to @BEYTEK and @stevenmcconnell1472 but I regret nothing.

"I have more money than Beytek." Bahahaha I'm ded.
Surely you can find some cheap aftermarket wheels and add hub rings.
Looks and sounds like a lot of fun lads!

Its the new LS400! Nice buy, just needs a couple of what a bargain. Only thing to note, the engines really do not take well to tuning, remember its two 2 litre Ford engines, and they break. A lot. Rods. Lambda sensors are always dead on these.

That's an x308. The aluminum bodies started with the x350. I'm probably not telling you anything you don't already know, but I would: Step 1 - clean fuel system, fluids, check to see if timing chains have been done. De-carbon intake system via your preferred method. Step 2 - Weight reduction: gut it, (leave rear back seats for driving to the track and remove when you get there if this will somehow be street legal). Plexiglass side and rear windows. Step 3 - XJR brakes and shocks and 17-18" XKR or '90s corvette wheels. Step LAST - tribute paint it for the 50s LeMans winning XKs. The current body color looks close. I would think you could recoup the $500 from the parts you take off.
