I’ve been using a 1080 gtx since 2018 and don’t even feel like I need to upgrade to play new titles . The most demanding game that makes it run like a jet is rdr2 on ultra settings, but there is no frame drops or delays .

If you have 144 hertz monitor, all you need is a graphics card and cpu capable of handling 144fps, unless your upgrading in the future

1060 6gb, ryzen 5 2400g. i used to get 120+ extremely consistently on csgo, now my frames go as low as 40 on literally the lowest settings possible. I know my setup is old but i feel like one of the most popular games in the world should be better optimized so all people can play it

I have a 6800xt and a 5800x, in most maps I get just shy of 400 fps but sometimes the game just decides to drop to 200 or lower (4:3 4k, sue me). I'm not crying or anything, what I'm trying to say is that the game can be optimized a lot better, and there is a big amount of performance on the table, especially for those who have bad pcs. My old pc, that had a 9400f and a gtx 1050, ran the game at 4:3 1080p at like 70 fps, but I know that it can run a lot better in a rig like that if the devs put in the work

i have a 1050 ti and i play on abt 50-100 fps most times

I ve got the i9 10900k and the 1080 and a 360hz oled monitor with no problems at all. So you dont need a ryzen or a 3080/4080 for 500fps

I got a r9 5950x with an 7800 xt and it works perfectly -- nearly everything on the highest and still get 250+ stable fps

I honestly wish CSGO wasn’t replaced with CS2 and stayed as its own game. Mainly because CSGO still runs on the source engine, so it could still run on lower end devices, while CS2 runs on newer software, only being able to run on mid to high end devices.

i have a gtx 1670 and a Ryzen 4 4400 and it runs 120 fps on average, it's amazingly optimized for how it looks, honestly

I have a 3070 and a 5800x, and despite having constant 300+ fps (except on ancient t spawn) the game feels like it's running at 120fps

and yes I have set my hz to 240
