You missed an easy one- not washing your hands after using the restroom. I’m still shocked how many times I still see this happen, for both 1&2. Pretty disgusting to not wash your hands after wiping up after yourself.

Here's another hot one... don't enter anyone's personal space! No need to stand inches away from anyone when waiting around.

Barging ahead of someone in a wheelchair, especially since cruise ships are one of the most challenging environments to attempt to get around!

Unsupervised kids. My Mom & I were waiting our turn to enjoy some soft serve, when 3-4 screaming, soaking wet kids come running up to the machines, in front of a line of people, shaking water everywhere, demanding ice cream. The poor crew member looked so displeased & politely asked them to join the line, but of course the kids were screaming & yelling loudly and weren’t listening. I told the crew member to go ahead as it would stop the kids flashing water all over the place. The poor crew member was very apologetic afterwards as both my Mom & I had gotten wet. People control your crotch goblins & teach them basic manners .😒

5:15 We used the water slide as soon as we got on and someone had left their entire backpack for at least an hour. Not sure if they could see it the whole time but that is a wild level of trust. Then they’d be shocked if it came up missing. Keep up with your bags at all times.

I've got a few that I've experienced so many times on multiple cruises.
1. Stopping and talking in the middle of the hallway, shopping area, buffet, casino, and more. There's a lot of tight areas, especially in crowded areas where there's a bunch of people gathered together. Blocking the way for other people, especially in the middle of area where everyone is walking to and from.
2. Pretty much part 2 of 1. When walking down the hallway, buffet, shopping, casino, etc. DON"T TAKE UP THE ENTIRE AREA and force people to move out of your way! It's sad to see people in wheel chairs having to move to the side as a stuck up group walk down the deck thinking they own the ship.
3. Don't bump into people if they are sitting down. This one upsets me the most. I play at the casino and I understand how sometimes there's not enough room in it. But I would constantly have people hit my chair as I'm trying to focus on the cards, over and over. And I don't mean once or twice a night. I'm talking about being hit every 5 minutes. Worse was that there was so many other areas that would of been so much more easier to go around then where I was.
4 Finally, at the end of the cruise. Leave the ship during your designated time. On a cruise earlier this year. I was assigned #3 since I had an early flight. EVERYONE, and I mean EVERYONE decided to get off all at once. It was complete Chaos and I felt so bad for the crew as they tried to keep everyone in order. And thanks to everyone's selfishness. I missed my flight.

Here's one. People in scooters or wheelchairs on the elevator often they have to wait multiple times for an elevator because they fill up with people and there is not enough room for them. Please let them on first!

Chair hog: where's all my stuff?
Me: what stuff? This chair was vacant 45 minutes ago when I got here.
Chair hog: I was just in the bathroom. What the hell?
Me: OMG are you ok? It's not good to strain for that long. 😒

One thing that really annoys us is when the elevator car is full and people still try to get on saying "Oh there is plenty of room"😡🤬🥵

Ill Add, for the elevator, Jumping in front of some one that is in a scooter or wheelchair that has been waiting for a while. The last cruise we were on er ended up waiting through 6 elevators because people would jump ahead preventing us from getting on.

Plus- Allowing children to scream down the hallways. I usually make stern eye contact with the child until they look away.

On my last cruise, on Odyssey, my wife and I had to leave for dinner an extra half hour early because of the idiots who pushed in front of us for elevators. What made it worse is my wife has to use a mobility scooter because of her back, and people couldn't even be courteous enough to let her on when we were there first. I eventually had to just block others so that she could get on the elevator.

YES. For the Love of All Things that are Holy and Good, wait until I/We/Us/They exit the elevator before you enter!! I’ve caught myself audibly telling folks to “wait”, or offering a sarcastic “excuse me” too many times.

Having a SeaPass ready in a queue is like having an electronic bus pass ready. Why do so many people wait until they arrive at the gate before searching their bags for the pass?

Was on HOTS 9/22 sailing.. was a nearly flawless trip.Crowded elevators..yes, but didn't experience rude riders.I was always making light of crowd, smiled or laughed, seem to help. No rude Karens or Kevins.but i practice being kind even when its hard.met many nice people and the staff are amazing .we had a blast till the moment we got off.😢

Proud to say we are not guilty of any of these things. Of course, we were raised correctly and being polite and respectful comes natural to us.

The number one annoying thing to me is chair hogs. I have seen people hog 4 or 5 loungers on the pool deck or the sun deck above it with towels and books and then they head to the buffet for breakfast. The next most annoying thing to me is people with 4 or 5 pieces of luggage trying to do the "express walkoff" at departure. And I have seen people in wheelchairs and with walkers who definitely did not belong in the express departure line holding up the line trying to move their luggage along.

100% agree with the inconsiderate vaping! I've seen them slyly hiding their vape while doing it. So damn inconsiderate. Matt, pretty much all other issues in your list are all part of the inconsiderate lack of etiquette that starts at home where Parents haven't taught their kids good manners (and yes, those adults weren't taught good manners too). The lack of consideration now a days is beyond me.

Talking in the bars when there is a performance going on drives my husband crazy. He is hard of hearing and he loves the small venues, u til the talkers show up.
