I love how the cables multiply during the disentangling.

Ah yes, "Payment = Exposure"

That's probably the bane of every musician though

I remember I was showing my friend my bass. Of course he called it a “guitar”, so I corrected him kindly, but he just rolled his eyes and said “Same thing.”
Luckily, I learned that basses are a good substitute for a sledgehammer.

The struggle of someone setting your bass somewhere and you watching it fall in almost slow motion was too real 😭 I've had multiple basses broken that way and it hurts every time 🙃

I love the friendly rivalry between yourself and Davey...it makes the videos extremely entertaining as im watching the two best bassists engage in musical duels on occasion. Watching you makes ME want to become a much better bassist then I currently am! Keep the videos coming!!

Honestly the most offensive thing from the airport guy was when he called your bass a guitar. I mean honestly…

There's German word for #7: "kabelsalat" which translates to "cable salad" - and I think it's absolutely brilliant!

Can you transform Lose Yourself by Eminem in an impossible bass solo? I think only Charles can do an insane bass version of one of the coolest rap songs ever

Every time this is being said a bassist loses their lives.

I like the new set of strings gag. The other night my son showed interest in his cello for the first time in years. One string was out of tune and I accidentally snapped it trying to tune it. Couldn't believe a full set of cello strings can go for over $100 AUD with some close to $300!

The first time I heard "Davie503" speak, I thought it was interesting the he had a British Accent, just like Charles Beartoo. Your talent NEVER ceases to amaze me!

The piece of paper with "exposure" written on it is more valuable than the actual exposure 🤣

Yep. There’s nothing worse than seeing your guitar slide down the wall.... and the resulting twang and headstock then throttling you’re best mate.

I love how RHCP's cover of 'Higher Ground' is shorthand for 'beginner bassist' on Charles' vids. 😁

1:09 I relate with this so much. My main amp rig is a 1977 Peavey 412F Cabinet and I run it through a Peavey Musician 400. I keep the thing in mint condition. There was another band that was in need of a bass amp. That was the The first and last person I ever lent the amp to. When I got it back, the red crystal that sits on the front face snapped off and I’ve never found it. I vowed never to lend my Amp to anyone ever again.

Glen Fricker: "YOU NEED TO BUY NEW BASS STRINGS!!!"

This reminded me of the time an old head guitar player who hadn’t played in several years tried telling me about the “I IV V” progression. I ran through the major scale and told him I was already familiar. He then told me I was “wrong, ” and demanded I hand him my bass and played off beat for five minutes with some other people around me. Sloppy roots and no groove the whole time. He then tried to give me the “you’re almost there” speech like I was to be amazed by him. Last time I ever handed anyone my instrument.
