Spending $500 Across 5 Cities (What Did I Get?)

Over the last 10 months, I've made 5 episodes of "How Much Fun Can You Have with $100 in 24 Hours" — in Hong Kong, Barcelona, Istanbul, Dubai and Bali. All 5 destinations were long layovers of about 24 hours, and I truly had a blast filming each video — it's a marathon every time!

Here is a compilation of all 5 videos in chronological order, where you can see how many things I bought for just $500 USD. I think you'll notice a HUGE difference in video quality (i.e editing) from the first episode in Hong Kong, to the most recent one in Bali :)

To sum it up in words, I got the following items for $500:

- HONG KONG: 5 metro rides, 2 trams, 1 ferry, 1 bus, 1 cable car, 1 BBQ pork, 1 order garlic clams, 3 beers, 1 dim sum breakfast
- BARCELONA: 1 airport train ticket, 10 metro rides, 1 Air Bnb room, 1 tapas & beer, ticket to La Sagrada, 1 cup of sangria, 1 plate giant paella
- ISTANBUL: 1 bus ride, 1 hotel night, 2 kebabs, 4 baklava, 2 Turkish coffee, 1 metro ride, 1 shisha & tea, Efes beer, 1 kumpir (stuffed baked potato), 1 gold tea set, 1 box Turkish delights, 1 haircut, 1 Uber ride
- DUBAI: 1 bus ride, 1 hotel room, 2 shawarmas & smoothie, unlimited metro rides, UAE flag, 3 magnets, shisha & tea, 1 boat ride, 1 Uber ride
- BALI: 2 taxi rides, 3 beers, 1 nasi goreng (fried rice), 1 hotel room, 1 mee goreng (fried noodles), 1 banana shake, 1 coconut, 1 cat poop coffee, 1 motorbike rental, 1 petrol fill up, 1 temple tickets, 1 monkey forest ticket, 1 butter crab, 1 massage

Turkey is very cheap, 200$ a week in a 5 star hotel with a football court, tennis court, basketball court, 5 swimming pools, 10 water slides, rooms with jacuzzis, 2 restaurants and 1 fish spa
