Please do more of these! I was raised in a typical lukewarm church (I’m a Gen Xer so as the church was cooling I was in my formative spiritual years and until I found GVBC I had no idea that I was living so far from God’s Will). I’m only now reading my Bible regularly and more than a few verses at a time because someone else told me to and as I’m reading things I have never read or even heard before I have so many questions and no one to ask that I trust to answer biblically. I’m not saying that only Pastor Greg holds the answers, but I know that when he’s preaching the Bible it’s coming FROM the Bible and he answers Bible questions FROM the Bible so I know that I can go back to the Bible and not only see that he is answering in truth and spirit but he also explains things in a way that I can understand and apply it to my reading and my life

Pastor Locke I watch most all your services and has seen you change, and grow. I have been/am so thankful for your teaching and your church. So when you say something is or is not true I know it could be true, but I like to read it myself.
I ask the questions about authority over the storm and the dead in Christ! I realized it may have seemed confrontational the way I ask, but I just want the truth, like you.

What about Christ calming the storm? He said we can do greater then he did, if we believe. So shouldn't we be able to take authority over and calm storms?

Where does the Bible teach we go to heaven when we die? If so then, who are the dead in Christ, who rise in Thessalonians and meet Christ in the clouds?

I can't find the "blank" in Exodus 33, I think I found where you were speaking of in chapter 32:32, but not much of a blank. Exodus 32:32 reads :Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin--; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.

In 2 Peter, it's the only place in KJV, it says, brutal beast which should be killed upon site, why is that the only place in the whole new testament it says to kill? 4:55

I have heard it said that the bible was written for all mankind but who was it written to?
Was it not the people and names of those people who lived in that day or time or age?

What did Jesus say in Matthew 10:23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.

Now look at Matthew 23:34
Because of this, I am sending you prophets and wise men and teachers. Some of them you will kill and crucify, and others you will flog in your synagogues and persecute in town after town.
Now look at verses; 35 And so upon you will come all the righteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. 36 Truly I tell you, all these things will come upon this generation.
Does the scripture not say that "All of the blood of the righteous blood for Able to Zechariah" would come upon "That Generation"?, and not a future generation meaning us or so called Israel of 1948 or today?

Apostle Paul tells us who Israel is in Romans chapter 9: 6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they [are] not all Israel, which are of Israel: 7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, [are they] all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these [are] not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.
The promise? What promise? Acts chapter 1 verses 4 and 5 tell us what promise.
4 And, being assembled together with [them], commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, [saith he], ye have heard of me. 5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

What did Jesus tell His disciples in Matthew 16:27 and 28?
27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

Tell me why people are teaching that the second coming of Jesus is in the future when it obviously took place when Jesus said it would.
