i get the xml/json use but i see tutorials using it like php in the html pages..why do devs use it if php can echo it on page just as easily?

I call it the same way he did. I don't know why anyone would call it Jason. That's a proper name of a person, not an acronym.

Case in point: The auto-generated English captions in the YouTube video correctly recognizes JSON when he says JSON, and Jason when he says Jason 🤔😂
