There is a big difference between sanding a board in many places as opposed to just doing it faster and slower in the same place. The piston still goes up and down in the same place.

Hey, i bought 30th anniversary fatboy yesterday. The salesman or mechanics at dealership didn’t tell me any thing about breaking the engine. This is my first bike and i didn’t k ow about either. I drove about 70 miles on it. And i did highway miles on about speed of 65 mph. As per your experience do you think i might have damaged something. Your help will be appreciated. Thanks

Hi there, just watched your video on break in, I'm about to take delivery of my new 114 Fatboy, I'm having a stage one done from the dealer. I will be using a FP3 as a fuel controller, on this product I can set a rev limit on my bike, would it do any harm by setting the rev limit to around 3200 RPM for the first 500 miles so that I'm not continually checking my tachometer. As the Fatboy does not have a conventional type of tachometer it would save trying to keep an eye on the continually fluctuating digits.
