Have you ever wondered how the fight between Sato and Miyagi would have gone down if that typhoon had never come in The Karate Kid Part 2? How would that have lasting consequences, even on Cobra Kai? Check out my breakdown and please leave your comments below as I would love to hear your take on it.

Mr Miyagi and Sato would have both known the pressure point technique that Chozen teaches Daniel, maybe one of them would have used that, I can imagine Mr Miyagi saying what Chozen said when he taught Daniel "If an enemy insists on war, then you take away their ability to wage it" Maybe Mr Miyagi would have incapacitated Sato with the technique and then honked his nose!

It would be an evenly matched martial arts battle, the first time we ever saw Mr. Miyagi take a serious blow or blows and damage but in the end I believe Miyagi would've narrowly won being smarter, smaller and shorter but faster and his late father's son, who was the sensei of both Miyagi and Sato and trained both in karate since early childhood. It would be a very tough, competitive, evenly matched fight and Mr. Miyagi would've incapacitated Sato with a low blow or kick to one or both of Sato's legs so Miyagi didn't have to kill him.

Sato would never have backed out of his agreement. Dude placed far too much emphasis on honor.

Both Mr. Miyagi and Sato had the same sensei (Miyagi's late father) that trained both since childhood. Sato also passed on the Miyagi-Do secret pressure points to his nephew. However, being his father's son, Miyagi likely was taught a little more in the ancient okinawan style of his father's karate by his father and their sensei. Sato was physically larger and bigger than Miyagi but Mr. Miyagi broke a log in two effortlessly to save Sato's life. I believe Mr. Miyagi vs Sato would've been an extremely competitive, evenly matched, close fight but I say Miyagi would've narrowly beaten Sato and incapacitated Sato with a crippling blow or kick to one or both of Sato's knees or legs so he didn't have to kill Sato.

Miyagi is Master Splinter/Yoda and Sato is The Shredder/Darth Vader

I have a theory I think Miyagi would let Sato defeat him purposely since he has no reason to live for like his family's died at that time. So he will let both save the villagers and his ex bestfriend.

If there's one thing I hate about the trilogy, is that not showing Sato fighting.

If they fought, one of them would have died for sure.

Sato would not lose that easily. Sato was stated to have trained with Miyagi when they were children and thus would be familiar with all of Miyagi's moves

Miyagi wouldnt have even let chozen get a hold of daniel, hed know chozen would be broken immediatly so hed rush to get in front of daniel. And miyagi trained with his father from a young age, sato didnt train with him til later. Also miyagi fought in war and since he constantly put himself in danger to join his wife and son he would have also constantly refined his karate to adapt to all types of enemies where sato never saw war and only trained soldiers and kept tradition. Miyagi woulda beat sato in fact itd been just a little longer than terry silver vs miyagi from part 3 but miyagi woulda won still. And chozen yeah woulda gone apeshit and as soon as he moved on daniel miyagi woulda rushed to aid him and wouldnt have wasted time with the goons, hed took care of them later after dispatching chozen.

It would be 2 really old guys flailing away. Looking real stupid.

If he could beat the pee out of Sato's 5 best students all at once, Sato himself wouldn't be much of a problem.
