I’m a bass angler in upstate NY that discovered your channel about 4 years ago. I know nothing about rock fishing and all about bass fishing. But for some reason your channel and fishing videos are my absolute favorite. When you post it makes my day. Thanks Matts.

That last sequence was beautiful. Last bait, last cast, last fish before the limit! Like a well coordinated buzzer beater of fishing. Thanks for changing that camera angle last minute to capture it all!

Matts I love the content, i fished lakes as a child, but not so much as an adult. I was diagnosed with leukemia in 2019 and spent 10 months in the hospital, I would watch your videos all day and night, amazing comfort and beautiful videography, both calm and exciting. I beat leukemia and am in remission, I’ve become a fresh water angler I kinda just realized that ultimately I owe you a thank you- as this content kept me sane in my darkest of times. I appreciate this channel more than you could know! Keep it up! I will too! Tight lines :)

@12:19 the 1/2oz Swimbait snagged. You gotta try the Battlestar XLS 1/2oz weighted Swimbait hook with the matching 5” rib bait. It won’t get snagged as much. And it’s the most weedless too. Awesome hooksets.

What an effort to get your limit, wow! The camera work all by yourself, well done. That is worth the drive from somewhere in the Western Sierra I presume. Thanks for the excellent fishing content, with cooking it also. This is worthy of network television I believe.

Glad you still making videos brotha I’ve haven’t been on here for several years since he started. You are the reason why I went back to finishing a few years ago. I don’t go as much as anymore but I try to go but thank you for your videos

Hey Matts. Enjoyed this video just as much as I enjoyed all the others I viewed. Hopefully I'll be able to attend your street fair next year. Being old (71) and living in the PNW, its not as easy as when I was younger but I love to fish! Thanks for uploading this vid!

Evolved from looking forward to Saturday morning cartoons to Saturday morning Fisherman's Life. I'd recommend getting an ikejime shinkeijime tool kit to make your fishes taste better.

Awsome content, love fishing the coast line off the rocks. There are times that I go out and just toss out my bait and sit. Dont even mess with all the little bites, just the takers. I enjoy the serenity and peace of the water.

Bro love your vids so much!!! Keep em up. Notice you use a four piece travel rod. One old trick I learned long time ago… when assembleing your rod, rub your finger on the side of your nose or forehead, then rub it on the conditions. Keeps them seated all the way, and makes disassembly easier.
