How to install and use Ettercap (Kali Linux 2023)

when i type ettercap -G it types this: You don't have permission to perform this capture on that device (socket: Operation not permitted) and btw sudo ettercap -G is not working for me

interesting video however what order do the addresses need to be in like does it have to be the router first then the workstation or is it the other way around and by that im referring to the IP address when selecting the targets
