I think the best analogy to the labo is the kinect. Aspects of it were cool and useful, but the people that got the most out of it were people that used them for other purposes rather than gaming.

Me and my boys have been building labo together, the instructions are great and they have done most of the work. Best part is they are so proud of them selves when it starts coming together.
