I have Labo. The games are fun for the first 5 minutes, but then loose it's coolness. I LOVED building the things out of cardboard

Labo is quite good for kids learnig about building things and coding. What most people forget is the switch is mostly made for younger audiences with family friendly mascots like pikachu instead of PS having older audiences and Kratos. I know a few kids who own one and they enjoy it a lot.

Nintendo just forgot that their target audience is not kids, it's chilled adults

"it looked like it was marketed towards kids" i assure you it didn't LOOK like it was marketed towards kids, it WAS marketed towards kids. It was a toy workshop and it's a real shame it failed too

At least them doing stuff like this means that there always trying to innovate and do something new even if it does turn out as supbar or worse

I actually really liked the labo it was something fun to do everyday building parts and making inventions it took like a week but it was really fun and the games were fun

I have the variety kit, it was kinda good but the piano was too complex and when I finished it, it didn’t work which meant I probably have done it wrong

I saw the commercial for this and laughed and ignored it and said “I’m not paying a bunch of money for a cardboard box”

Instead of labo Nintendo should have made some kind of accessory that turns your switch into a vr headset and make games that take advantage of it.

It could have brought vr only games to switch, be cheaper because the headset would use the switch tablet to display the games rather than something like the PS4 VR headset were it's a separate device with way more parts and make the switch a console, handheld and VR headset.
It would have been ahead of it's time and make Nintendo even more money and imagine VR games for Mario, Zelda or Metroid for example, it would make the possibilities endless for the switch.
