Who else is from the short showing this magic trick whether or not to figure out if it was alkane or not?😂

The common core of all seemingly impossible paradoxes is that something has been omitted or misrepresented in the presentation... and there was. The flask was misrepresented as "empty" when in fact it was not, it contained a fuel.

Now I know how the burning Fiji water trick worked. 🔥 💧

Used a flammable liquid and coated the inside layer to where you cannot see it. Then poured water in it so that the liquid floated to the top therefor making the time flame. Thats why it ran put so fast.

I was hoping for an empty flask and maybe a flamable gas dissolved into the water, since it can be slightly pressurized inside the bottle, I think it could work. the reduced pressure would make the gas come out of solution to be burned. I do not expect that to give such a steady flame tho.
so solvant it was, kinda bowring since the flask wasnt actually empty but fun to watch

I guessed correctly! Yay! I'm leaning slowly but surely!!!

I knew it wasn't alcohol it would just mix. It may would have worked with the vapors while filling the bottle but not afterwards

What if before you put the distilled water you put a lighted matchstick inside the flask that has ethanol on it. Will the distilled water still lit on fire if you put a lighted matchstick on it?

At first I thought you used gasoline or something to replace the water

I'm currently taking ochem but still surprised myself getting it all right. just coating the sides in hexanes bc it's lighter than water and flammable

Are there any flammable liquids that you can substitute hexane for? Preferably something common and easily attainable

I guessed one of the minerals being in the actual water lol. I should have figured it wouldn't have been enough to actively burn

are u able to drink it? like once they do a cocktail they put it on fire and drink it without getting burnt. So if i do this can i drink it? bacue im trying to do it in something like water or juice not alcholic drinks.

water can burn, no ilusion! I have seen it. it got a 21 sqm huge kitchen into black by using a few ml of water. but this video and all others are very, very far from it.

Is it really a trick if you are lying about the contents? 👎

What is halexane?

Hexane is used to extract edible oils from seeds and vegetables, as a special-use solvent, and as a cleaning agent. Acute (short-term) inhalation exposure of humans to high levels of hexane causes mild central nervous system (CNS) effects, including dizziness, giddiness, slight nausea, and headache

And they used it in the food industry 😳😳

Well isopropyl alcohol looks like water too, this could still be faked by an absolute noob, I cannot smell this video. Let's play with peroxy acetic acid and hydrogen peroxide next since it also looks like water! No gloves though!😂
