H.R.1044-Fairness For High Skilled Immigrants

Status: Passed House(Like Lok Sabha in India)

Next what? It should pass in senate(Like Rajya Sabha in India)

There are 100 senators in US senate. *Each state of the 50 United States has 2 senators irrespective of size and population of the state.* Once elected by public of the state they do serve as a US senator for 6 years. Only 33% of 100 senators goes elections per every 2 years. That 6years serving time usually more than president elected time might be the reason for their independent decisions in voting irrespective of party call or presidents call. We saw many republican senators voted against party’s election promises agenda bills.

* Anyway, We do need 60+ cosponsors. And 67 cosponsors makes bill has to call for voting oneway or other way by using different rules of senate.*

Currently House passed bill HR1044 with senate committee(s) in senate. Usually, It should come out of those committees to call companion bill of it aka S.386 for voting. There are many bills in each senate which never comes out of those committees to see senate voting or light. They simply become invalid in dark as every two years bills recycle due to new congress formation per every two years.

Is there a way to by pass senate committees?
