500 EXC vs the Stripped Bolt : How to remove a rounded bolt

Stripped the oil drain plug a year ago. Decided to make a fun little video about it, and how to fix it. If you are impatient, just skip to about 3:06 for the solution. But, you could probably use a little comedy to calm you down first, enjoy!

Joe,
Just came across your channel. Glad I found it, it looks like you have some great videos. It's good to finally find a channel that seems to share many of the same challenges I've been going through with regards to riding. I too just recently got back on a bike (thanks to Everide and a few others) 4/15 on a 96 DR350. 11 months ago I finally purchased my first real dirt bike, a 2016 Beta 300RR Race edition. I've been "learning by doing", the same as you and have been wanting to maybe try a race. preferably a sprint type enduro like in your prison break race vid. I see your running novice colors, which age class are you running and how well do you feel you fit in the class with your experience?
Thanks for sharing your story.
I look forward to seeing your future vids

Hmmm. Did you strip head by not using proper torx wrench? I know I've should invest in a good torx wrench if I am to do my own maintenance.

Use 6 point sockets to help prevent this scenario.

I did the exact same thing on my KTM. For some reason, that bolt is always soft. Mine was an Allen bolt that stripped. Tried JB tried bolt extractors. I just brought it to the dealer and let them take it out. So frustrating.
