The most technically perfect singer of the 60s. Still in 2022 no one has matched him.

My Father ( God rest his soul) was a massive fan of Sinatra, as I am, however, I never heard any Matt back in those days and now I am in love with this man's voice and music probably more than anyone, even Sinatra. I know it all comes down to taste but, for me, this man's voice is definitely superior to Sinatras and anybody else for that matter, in terms of pitch, tone, balance and all other vocal technicalities and even more pleasing to the ear, spirit and heart. The question I keep asking myself is this, " if Dad was still alive, could I persuade him of this? ". Maybe, one day, in another realm I might find my answer. I'm the meantime I shall continue to listen to both Matt and Frank, but Matt will always be my number one. To be quite honest, this man blows me away!.
