The 142-page report includes analysis and a comprehensive set of nearly 60 recommendations meant to enhance the Navy’s overall diversity and ensure that a culture of inclusivity is evident at every command.

After compiling and analyzing feedback from hundreds of Sailors through focus groups and surveys, Task Force One Navy (TF1N)—the special task force which formed in July to lead this effort—submitted its final report to the service’s Culture of Excellence (COE) Governance Board Jan. 28.

What a joke! Maybe focus on stuff that actually matters. But I am sure they are doing this because their civilian overlord ordered them too.

I hope you guys have plans to take care of greenside corpsman. I think we get overlooked by the regular navy being we merge in with marine units so much. While serving as a corpsman with the light armored reconnaissance batallion with second marine division, I already deployed in combat. Yet this newbie caucausian corpsman came in and in a few months got a meritorious promotion to a third class petty officer. No combat experience and didn't have his fleet marine force pin, which they told us our opportunity to advance would be withdrawn if we didn't have it. All the blacl corpsman who didn't have it were made to sign a form waiving their eligibility for advancement. Yet this new guy got a pass for some reason. I still remember his last name was Pedone and Chief Michael Gandy decided to promote him. All because he did some admin stuff for him. This all occurred around 2009-2010. This is just one in hundreds of issues experienced by me and other African amercian corpsman being disadvantaged and given awkward roles in the unit. And I actually remember master chief Phillips from the USS Baatan while I served with 3/2 on deployment to Haiti. The guy made a smart remarks about "breaking me in" around some fellow corpsman. I highly doubt he cares about diversity, fairness, or respect and probably just doing this for good looks. I see this whole initiative as a joke.

Tired from the United States Navy almost 20 years ago no one reached out to me for my comments. Also how is One Navy working with My company that I have been working with which is part the Department of Defence, Military Sealift Command. I've seen nothing with the One Navy within MSC

Hello, what are the necessary procedures to go to your respectable country to volunteer in the ranks of the American naval forces, and it is a great honor for me to volunteer in this field because I love him so much. Please reply with note. I am an Iraqi citizen and I would like to live and work in your country. Thank you. Please reply

They're getting on those people for joining certain groups or having certain beliefs, but what about the freemasons problem in the government and military ranks? They have not so good beliefs and actions too. Don't just go after few, go after all of them.

Diversity, equity and inclusion?! Wtf kind of nonsense is this. That was never an issue when I was in and now all of a sudden it is? How does CRT help the Navy uphold its goals for global stability? The Navy has grown weak and makes me embarrassed by this BS.😠 The Navy needs better leaders. Let me tell ya; if battle stations gets called and the stuff hits the fan; I'm sure sailors will be thinking about equity and diversity. If you keep pushing this nonsense, no one is gonna want to join and no one is gonna take you seriously. One more thing; there's only one color in the Navy and that's Navy blue.

Any rank above E-6 is a Political position. I joined at 17, 1971. Entered the Fleet an E-1. 2 tours to Vietnam and made GMG3. I was told that the Navy is a true representation of the General Population. Well, there you have it. I didn’t stay because I saw too much coveting for rank and medals. 5 miles off the Coast of Vietnam and guys are talking about making Chief. Gentlemen, the War is right there, Danang was being mortared. So, we lost and returned home to lick our wounds. Saigon fell 1 month before my enlistment ended. The Professionals are all dead in the 1st year of any War. The Citizen Soldier is called on to end it and re-establish the peace. I understand the 1st priority of any Nation State is War. I wouldn’t invite Politics into the ranks as I see you doing today. We serve and fight for the man standing next to us, nothing more. Losing a War is bad for Morale.
