Jeremy Corbyn refused to describe Hamas as terrorists during a heated live interview with Piers Morgan.

The former Labour leader was asked repeatedly whether Hamas is a terror group after appearing on TalkTV’s Piers Morgan Uncensored on Monday alongside Len McCluskey, the former general secretary of Unite.

James Cleverly, the new home secretary, shared a video of the interview on social media and tweeted: “As Home Secretary, I can confirm that Hamas are a terror group.”

If only he'd asked Corbyn it 37 times to give him a fair chance to clarify the point.

Hamas terrorist group yes or no ? Two of the easiest words to understand in the English language, but not for Corbyn .

The Terrorism Act 2000 defines terrorism, both in and outside of the UK, as the use or threat of one or more of the actions listed below, and where they are designed to influence the government, or an international governmental organisation or to intimidate the public. The use or threat must also be for the purpose of advancing a political, religious, racial or ideological cause.

The specific actions included are:

serious violence against a person;

serious damage to property;

endangering a person's life (other than that of the person committing the action);

creating a serious risk to the health or safety of the public or a section of the public; and

action designed to seriously interfere with or seriously to disrupt an electronic system.

Israel has done this for 60 years.

Piers is so gobby, he’d be more professional if he allowed people to explain rather than constantly talking over them, & walking off set in a hissy fit when things don’t go the precise way he wants.

He can't speak badly about the hand that feeds him.

I remember that the Conservatives all cheered when Corbyn became leader of Labour as they were convinced that it made Labour unelectable. They were right... and this is the perfect example of why. We were all glad to have a bunch of incompetent leaders rather than Corbyn in charge! I wish politicians would wake up and realise that it is the center ground where they can win votes. Far left and far right are both equally off-putting to the majority of the population. We just want reasonable leaders with sensible policies who do a good job... is that too much to ask? 😂

It’s telling that Corbyn is the only person who can make Piers Morgan sound correct.
