THRIFT FLIP CHALLENGE COLLAB ft Adey Gunnin of @Well-Loved

Thrift Flip Challenge Rules: $10 budget to thrift one or multiple items, but the challenge is that we have to turn all of those things into one cohesive outfit. In this video, Adey sent me three items to transform into something new. I decided to make a cottage core inspired dress out of the items she sent me. I'm planning on making a second dress from the fabric I have leftover, so stay tuned! Make sure you check out Adey's video to see what I sent her and what she turned it into!

I like the results, but is it really sustainable to cut up a dress you got from the thrift store and then only use a tiny bit of it to make straps?

It’s not very good. The Color’s don’t really go together, and the line detail just stopping is odd. I get what you were going for, but I think this could of been a lot better if you changed some things around, or had different Color’s and patterns.

I would have used the blue skirt with part of the yellow top with puffy sleeves ( IDK what to call them ) with grey ties and accents

Beautiful ❤. Your a real artist. The pieces you make are sooo cute. What a great way to recycle and help save the earth too😊❤

I like the homage to 19-teens corsetry with the visable seams going from the underbust past the hips in the skirt portion of this dress.

Love the dress design and fabric but I would rather not have the yellow especially on the lower bottom

I just watched you in 3 videos and you kinda make the same thing over and over. Not very creative. You could have used more material. 🙄

I’m on permanent disability assistance and haven’t been able to buy essentials since depop became popular. I love up-cycling but please try to keep in mind how common my situation is… a lot of people can’t just get in a car or walk to the next thrift store when the first one is completely empty </3 Resources for the homeless/disabled/low income are not your craft stores, if you do have other options

She basically could've just gone to the shop and grabbed a couple of strings she didn't actually make the most the fabric in all three outfits

It's painful to watch thrift flips where they use clothing that someone would actually love just the way it is be butchered
