The US should stop selling leases to Big Oil for pennies on the dollar and use the same companies Big Oil uses to produce crude for the strategic petroleum reserve. That would give the US leverage over Big Oil to sell them crude at world market prices whenever they conspire with producer nations to cut production and raise prices. No more corporate welfare for Big Oil and use price caps for refineries allowing them to make fair profits and not price gauge. Enough is enough, the GOP is constantly trying to increase our energy costs to get more contributions.
