Oil prices rise after Opec and allies cut production

Oil prices surged when global markets opened on Monday. This comes on the back of the announcement of the Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), and its allies that they will voluntarily cut oil production starting from next month until the end of the year.
