@7:00 when you assign the 6 rotary knobs to the instrument, will these setting always be true or do you have to do this every time? And when you have multiple instruments set up, can you just switch between one or the other and the settings will stay intact?

Great helpful video, I started using monogram a few weeks ago and it is great bit of kit, don’t forget you can also setup each button or knob to a different colour.

Helpful video! I'm thinking about getting a set to use at my NI S88 midi keyboard, to augment the mouse for things in the MIDI Edit Window like expanding/contracting the view, deleting midi notes, cutting and pasting midi notes -- things I'd normally do with a Mac keyboard. I'm wondering if these modules (maybe a core, and orbiter, and a three-button) could fit in the space in front of the left bank of buttons. Do you know?

I watched the video but maybe being a bit long I missed it .... but is it possible in addition to all these things to set the wheel so that you can use the zoom, and move around the project by pressing the sides of the big button?
and set the keys with copy, paste, rec, etc. etc.

Great vid as always. Thanks. Can you use multiple profiles within the same Logic Song? For example, if I'm using a software synth on one track and assign midi cc 20- 31 to write automation using profile 1...then switch to another track, load profile 2 cc 102 to 119 to write automation? It seems one could have a huge amount of controllers by just switching profiles using core module buttons.

Thanks for another great video! I was just searching for info about CCs and Midi controllers so this was very helpful

Great video, thanks! Is there a way to set up the orbiter to work more like a real shuttle wheel? I am working with rather big sessions and I found that the bigger the session, the bigger the step the orbiter will do when shuttling. So I end up with steps as big as 70 or 80 bars at once which is pretty useless.

When a controller knob is assigned, is it only for the specific instance of that instrument. For instance if I assigned a knob for compression threshold, close that window, could I assign that same controller for an EQ band as well? And If I adjusted the eq bandi, would it mess with the threshold setting every time?

Thanks for the detailed video and discount code! You mentioned the controller app has to be opened in order for it to work with LPX .. does it use much CPU?

Fantastic video! One question - I only have a 3 fader unit. I followed your process, but the mixer window is highlighting 8 faders rather than 3. Is there anyway to adjust this to only highlight the 3 faders I have assigned? Thanks so much!

Wow - fascinating! In your ES2 example, will the Monogram stop controlling the ES2 plugin when the plugin window is closed? If not it could get confusing if you have mapped two plugins on the same Logic channel.

Great video as always. You mentioned that the console was intended for working with Midi files. Am I correct in assuming that it also is useful for people who work with multi-track acoustic recordings too?

Really well done video. I'm not in the market for this, but I did pick up some tips for how to map my Arturia keyboard. Thanks!

Excellent intro. Two questions: 1) Can you use Expressive E's Touche (which I love with strings eg) in combination with Mongram's controller, and if so, why would you possibly want to do that? ; 2) Can you assign the controllers app by app? I.e., can you assign controller functions for Alchemy, Analog Lab, Pigments or other plugins - while still maintaining your core controller assignments - like the ones that you have set up here for yourself in this video? Thanks! Again, great demo.

In Studio One, you can assign your controller to any parameter, and multiple ones, and it will remember your settings forever. Whatever plugin is in focus, that's the control you have. It's amazing! Logic unfortunately doesn't have that, you have to constantly set this up every time.
