XAF's Role-based Access Control & User Authentication API can be used to protect data in any .NET application – be it a client app or a server side solution like an ASP.NET Core web site. In this video, will make a quick review of the architecture of this security API and also describe the main integration steps for Entity Framework Core ORM (EF Core 5). You will also learn the following:
1) how to add required DevExpress and Microsoft NuGet packages, define your EF Core data model and create a database with dynamic user, role and permission data;
2) initialize a secured data store and authenticate users;
3) authorize CRUD operations and manipulate data based on user access rights.

If your EF Core-based .NET app includes login/logout forms and requires dynamic security policies, XAF’s Role-based Access Control & User Authentication API is an easy-to-use alternative to custom app-security logic. From WinForms and WPF, to .NET server technologies like ASP.NET Core MVC/Web API/OData/Blazor – XAF’s Security System is the perfect choice for the enterprise.

Do I have to construct the Updater.cs myself, or is that included somewhere? Does using your .NET Security API mean that there is no Database First approach?

Was there supposed to be a link comparing EF Core with XPO? I like to know pros and cons of each choice.
