Wausau 1971

This is a very rough video of downtown Wausau in 1971. It was originally shot on 8 mm film and digitized.

As a former resident of Wausau, seeing this video brings back ALOT of memories. All the buildings that are now along and seeing all the stores, this makes me want to go back in time to a more perfect and peaceful time. This video AWESOME

OMG! Such memories! Even caught Funkey Park, behind the YMCA! We hung there a lot as teens and such. The then mayor's son, Tony once changed the sign from Yawkey to Funkey. Such great fun times!

does anyone recognize any of the people walking down the street? There is a couple that looks a lot like my brother Gary Cumber and his wife Carol when they first started dating. Is this  indeed 1971 and not 1972?
